After more than twenty years, Acura Integra was legendary again as a four-door sedan with a swooping rear tip. Acura launched a photo of a new teaser from the upcoming Integra, and it displays the sloping roof of the sedan and the profile of the back of a modern fastback like Kia Stinger.
Purists can scoff at an integrated idea of four doors, especially in the presence of all-new TLX Type S. but face competitors such as Mercedes-Benz A-Class, Audi A3, and BMW 2-Series Gran Coupe (all who have four doors and stems), Acura wants to play safely. However, Japanese car makers did not rule out the possibility of the right two-door Integra coupe, so there was hope.
The next Acura Integra will drive the All-New-Gen Civic’s Underpinings. It is interesting to show that the New Civic Hatchback has a modified sedan platform, so we keep our fingers across the possibility of the arrival of two-door coupe Type Int Integra immediately.
Acura first released a picture of the teaser from the new Lima Gen Integra last month, and we now have a general picture of what version of the production will be seen when it touches the showroom in the summer of 2022. It gets a lights design similar to TLX as a TLX. , but the chicane running lights are above the LED lighting unit, not below. It also has an Integra logo under the front left lamp, although we are not sure whether the addition of this unique design will make it a production.
But at the back, the new Integra has a premium vibration with a sleek taillights and fast rear tip. Even get a fine ducktail spoiler to tame the wind. Apart from that, the roof line that sweeps deserves to be praised, and we like Pounced Curvy which comes from the back door.
Acura is still a mother on what is under the tent, but we expect the new Integra to have machine options and the same transmission as a new Civic. Will it inherit the six-speed manual gearbox from the New Civic hatchback? Will be heresy if not because of the legendary integra appeal is most related to how the manual feelings are felt when changing teeth.
Acura promised to reveal more about the latest Integra in the coming months. For now, we like what we see, but Integra will need more than a beautiful attitude to restart past glory.
