In fact, the market has grown rapidly in recent years, with ereaders who really approached Android tablets in functionality. Even though they, Amazon and Kobo continued to bend more towards the traditional side of this device, but the new Kobo Sage and Kobo Libra 2 became quite close to that limit, especially the new features that placed the Cobo audio book in the city center.
Audiobooks have been around for years, of course, and the purchase of Amazon from Audible proves how the industry sees ebooks and audio books as siblings. However, for the first time, Rakuten’s ebook company brought Bluetooth connectivity to its readers to listen to more comfortable.
Both Kobo Sage and Kobo Libra 2 now support Bluetooth connectivity so you can pair your favorite wireless headset to listen to hands-free. However, the audio book is only available in certain countries, and Kobo is Mum whether you can add your own audio content from the Support Dropbox Sage, for example. It seems not equipped with a traditional headphone jack, and the specification sheet does not mention the default speakers.
Both Sage and Libra 2 boast IPX8 rankings for free use worry even by the pool but don’t even think to take it to the beach. Kobo Sage also took wobbled by having support for Kobo Stylus because it recorded certain books, depending on whether they had DRM protection or not. Both ereaders come with the Staple Kobo feature, including Comfortlight Pro for brightness and blue light control.
Cobo Sage is currently selling for 299.99, while the smaller Kobo Libra will go for $ 219.99 CAD. Kobo also launched a new Powercover Kobo Sage that functions doubles as an additional battery for charging ereaders while traveling.
