After a long wait, Lucid has confirmed that production is underway for full electric vehicles called air. The vehicle was being built at the Lucid factory in Arizona, and the car maker has confirmed that production is currently underway. With production, Lucid expects the first customer delivery to start in October.
It is not clear exactly how many air evas that slide from the current production line, but bookings for the car have exceeded 13,000. Customer clear air electric electric sedan began to flow from the assembly line on September 28 at an event called AMP-1, which also displays the factory commissioning ceremony.
During the event, attending customers, investors, and the media became the first person to deliver air. Lucid said that those who ordered Dream Water Edition will begin receiving vehicles at the end of October. Customer delivery will run fast after initial shipping.
Other air model production, including Grand Touring, Touring, and pure water, will follow. In addition, the car maker has confirmed that he has increased the total production of his dream edition to 520 units. That number is in accordance with the estimated official range provided by EPA for the dream issue of 520 miles per cost.
Lucid Brags which number is more than 100 miles from driving distance above its closest competition. Lucid has also stated, with quality car customers in production, air has been confirmed to fulfill all regulatory requirements by EPA and the US Transportation Department.
EPA estimates the range of driving a grand water tour with 516 miles per cost when equipped with a 112 kWh battery. Lucid also currently expanded the factory located in Casa Grande, Arizona. Expansion will add 2.85 million square feet to the factory to increase air production and support the production of gravity SUVs, which are expected to begin in 2023.
